God called on him

Not all of us—indeed, not most of us—is “born” into a religious calling. Rather, our life journeys take us down any number of other paths. What we all share is the experience of God at some point calling upon us to serve Him as part of the Franciscan Order.

The voice is sometimes quiet, sometimes loud, and always persistent. Importantly, our Franciscan formation begins with a period of discernment of the calling. You may support the formation of new Franciscan Brothers by helping to fund their education through St. Anthony’s Burse.
